Satisfaction Policy

Fashion Designer Tailoring Alteration & Services (below state Fashion Designer) will always provide our customers with the best quality service. We will utilize our combined years of experience to give your articles the quality services you require. We reserve the right to refuse altering any item that may need special handling and thus will only proceed with your permission. Even with special care, some articles have limited serviceability. If an article is damaged due to an error on our part, the original valid alteration order (White Copy) MUST be used to establish the quality and cost of the item, the replacement value will be up to a maximum of two times the cost of alteration.

 

Quality Assurance

Fashion Designer Tailoring Alteration provides warranty for the workmanship of our alteration and tailoring services. If you are unsatisfied with the workmanship of our alteration and tailoring services, simply contact our outlet within 24 hours from the date of collection, and we will adjust it free of charge. Liability will be limited to those items actually received for servicing and will extend only to the article that has been handled.

 

Article Damage Policy

Fashion Designer Tailoring Alteration services exercises utmost care in processing your article. However, we cannot assume responsibilities for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that are not visibly apparent prior to processing. Therefore we cannot guarantee against damage to weak and tender fabrics. All the measurement taken and suggestion given are for customer reference only, Fashion Designer Tailoring assume to alter the item under customer’s consent, and changes in design of the item inherent after alteration are not guaranteed.

 

Fashion Designer Tailoring liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed our maximum replacement cost and such claims shall not exceed £200 or whichever is lower for any item, unless the value is declared and noted on our sales invoice. Any item value declared by customer exceeds £200; an additional 50% charge will be imposed per £200 to the normal rate charged for the service item.

 

Payer of the adjustment may acquire ownership of the claimed article, and therefore Fashion Designer Tailoring reserve the right to retain the damaged articles whether is partially or completely damaged upon full settlement of claim.

All claims must be notified and made within 24 hours of collection date and original valid alteration order (white Copy) must be presented for claim.

 

Article Loss Policy

Article loss can occur during the alteration process, but is extremely rare.

Discuss the situation with Fashion Designer Tailoring. Your original valid alteration order (White Copy) verifies the article presented for alteration and not returned. We should make an adjustment based on the article’s life expectancy, age or condition, and replacement cost, and Fashion Designer Tailoring liability with respect to any lost item shall not exceed £100 unless the value is declared and noted on our service invoice. Any item value declared by the customer exceeds £100; an additional 20% charge will be imposed per £100 to the normal charged rate or the service item.

 

Please allow ten working days after the date of reported loss of article for investigation. After one week, the original alteration order (White Copy) MUST be presented for claim.

 

Express Service

Express service is available for an additional 20% surcharge on the order amount for completion of the order within the same day. For orders requiring immediate alteration, a double surcharge is applicable.

 

Normal processing time for alteration is two to three working days. Because alteration is a handicraft service and our workmanship is highly concerned, we may not be able to predict our processing schedule; hence we are not liable to any loss arising from the delay in processing the order.

 

Fashion Designer Tailoring reserves the right to refuse alteration to any article due to our processing schedule.

 

Redemption of Item

All articles MUST be redeemed within one month from the collection date. Due item would be kept in the outlet without any guarantee stated above and will be kept at the customer’s own risk for another month.

Fashion Designer Tailoring reserves the right to dispose the article and the customer therefore cannot claim Fashion Designer Tailoring any compensation after the redemption period.

Note:

We strongly recommend that clients bring the correct shoes for their outfit during fittings. Once the garment is finished, it may not be possible to rectify the length if it is not correct. We reserve the right to make an additional charge for any further alteration so incurred.

Garments will be altered exactly as pinned by the client - we will happily pin for you, free of charge.

All garments must be clean before being brought in for alterations. We reserve the right to reject dirty garments.

All work must be paid for before garments can be removed. Payment can be by cash or cheque.

We reserve the right to charge for further alterations should your weight/shape fluctuate between fittings!!
